TERROR JIHAD READER SERIES – VOLUME 1
JIHAD! Understanding the Threat of the Islamist State in America
The Islamic State continues to add new groups to its growing franchise around the world. And individual jihadists from nearly every continent continue to step forward to pledge allegiance to IS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi as they carry out murderous attacks on innocent civilians. Unfortunately, too many at the top levels of U.S. national security, the media, academia and other elites still fail to understand this enemy, typically approaching it as a mere “terrorist organization” or purveyor of “violent extremism.” In particular, unless and until there is a much better appreciation for the phenomenon that is spawning and intensifying Islamic supremacism as practiced by IS, Americans and other freedom-loving people everywhere will be in mortal peril. The men who created the United States of America at the end of the 18th century, came together in a boisterous, bickering fraternity, and worked with uncommon determination to create something unique in statecraft. They saw beyond the boundaries of their personal experience, and embarked upon a great experiment that swept thirteen autonomous colonies into a unique and historic confederation of the United States of America. During the public comment time at the Dearborn city council meeting, a Muslim stood to demand that the city institute sharia patrols to keep young people out of parks and to prevent the sale of “offensive” magazines in stores.
The man named Hassan took his place in line during the public comments and when it was his turn to speak he prefaced his comments with loud chanting of Islamic prayers. He then went on to demand that the city begin patrols of the parks because people used them for “sexual activities.” Continue reading

By Jerry Gordon for New English Review, March 2014
What if Iran already had more than a dozen nuclear bombs and successfully tested a device deep underground? Moreover, what if that information had been shared with Secretary John Kerry, who chose not to disclose it to the other members of the P5+1 delegation? Continue reading
Americans should be alarmed over the Ukraine civil war, because what is taking place half-a-world-away in Kiev, Ukraine sends a clear signal around the globe that America no longer is the force for good; the power to stand against evil; the influence to start and direct meaningful negotiations we were known for at one time. America is in retreat across the globe and our allies know this, and our enemies really know this and no longer even listen when Obama speaks! Continue reading
After years of intransigence and unwillingness to even consider abandoning its nuclear program, Iran has suddenly become amenable to what appears to be real negotiations and an apparent readiness to compromise. The change was dramatic. Although still firing off occasional tirades against the West in general and Israel in particular, Iran is now allowing daily inspections of some of its nuclear facilities in exchange for the lifting of international sanctions.
The sudden shift in Iranian policy has raised eyebrows among those who still consider Iran’s nuclear program to be a major threat to peace in the Middle East. What could have caused this turnabout in Iranian tactics? New and stunning information from highly credible sources in the US and Asia may help to explain this striking change. Continue reading
The long view of history is likely to judge the Obama administration most keenly by the chaos that it has left behind in the wake of virtually every major initiative it has undertaken. Obama’s campaign promise to “fundamentally change America” was a sound-byte that American voters bought into, hoping for more equity in social programs, a more liberal approach to issues like immigration and minimum wage, and the sharing of the American dream with more people.
But for some of us, those words were a warning of great upheaval to come, as the institutions and values enshrined in America’s Constitution would be compromised, discarded, and replaced with the values of socialism and greatly expanded government controls. It did not take long for the fundamental changes to begin.
On Wednesday, November 13, an 18-year old, newly-drafted Israeli soldier Eden Atias boarded an Egged bus that would take him back to his base. Before the trip had barely begun, he fell asleep. Atias had just entered the Israeli army two weeks earlier and was still in his first days of basic training. While he slept, the 16-year old sitting next to him stabbed him viciously, several times in the neck. Atias was rushed to Haemek Hospital in Afula, where surgeons worked feverishly to save his life, but could not. Atias died in the hospital, and before the day was ended, he was buried at the Nazareth Illit military cemetery (photo shows family mourning at his funeral).
The murderer, Hussein Sharif Rawarda, was immediately arrested by the Israeli police. He told them, “I boarded the bus with the intention of stabbing someone. . . . to bring a gift to the Palestinian people and to Hamas prisoners for the festival of sacrifice”. Continue reading
